Holds Bake Sale
to Support
Victims of the September 11th
Terrorist Attack

This should make us all very proud. Wanting to do something for the victims of the September 11th attack on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center, Katie Clark came up with the idea of holding a bake sale, and contributing all the proceeds to the September 11th Relief Fund. The Level 6 team that Katie practices with all thought that was a great idea.

They held a bake sale at the Safeway at Twinbook Plaza right after practice on Saturday, September 22^nd, and collected $330 for the victims of the disaster. Safeway is also matching their earnings, so the level 6 team earned $660 for the American Red Cross September 11th fund! Congratulations to the Level 6 team!

I know there were a couple of gymnasts who were very disappointed that family obligations made it impossible for them to be at the bake sale. I want to let those girls know that it is sufficient that you cared! I am proud of all of the girls, and am sure that the rest of the Cardinal Parents and coaches are as well.
